Information for Your Induction Weekend
The Order of the Arrow is an incredible organization that honors those who have shown time and time again to their peers they are willing to give back in cheerful service. Before induction into the order, one must prove themselves. Induction weekends are designed to give you a time of reflection as you are tested on your willingness to serve others.
Here is important information on how you can be successful in your first experience with our lodge
- Registration will begin at 5 pm at Ingersoll Scout Reservation. Time will be given for you to set up a tent in the activity field by the pool. The general camping gear will suffice. Showers will be available Saturday afternoon/night.
- At 7:00 pm, you will be meeting with the inductions team at the pool pavilion. You will not be in your tent Friday night. Keep with you in a hiking backpack, a tarp big enough to sleep on, sleeping clothes, change of work clothes and gloves, any nightly toiletries, a sleeping bag, a water bottle, and anything else you need for a night under the stars.
- Please do not bring any food or drink besides water
- Through your entire ordeal you will have a guide called an Elangnomat to help you throughout your journey.
- The schedule for the entire event may be found on the previous page. Just click on the Ordeal button.
- Please contact the lodge HERE to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have.
